We arrived here in NZ early in the morning on St Patrick's Day. We had an uneventful flight... Jan and I were both able to sleep so we felt rested even though it was 4:00 in the morning... we even had the row on the flight to ourselves as the flight was barely half full.
We picked up our car and easily found my cousin and his wife's house in Auckland and, after meeting for the first time, had a nice day, with Len and Merril graciously showing us the sights and a good time, including, appropriately, a drink in an Irish pub. Thanks for the hospitality and good times, Merril and cussie Len! It was exciting and a pleasure to meet you both... so glad to add you to our family tree!
And away we go. Jan is happy with two of her favorite things, a flashlight and a map!

This place put me in mind of our new grand nephew, Jack Jimmy... well, everything is backwards and downunder here!
