Bay of Islands

After a nice visit with Merril and cousin Lenny, we spent a couple of days relaxing by the water in the Bay of Islands area north of Auckland.  Nicky Wolman and David Fulker, friends from back home in Boulder were there at the same time and we had a nice visit with them.  David, who plays trumpet with the Boulder Symphony, even did some buskering with a lady they met in the area on Sunday, which Jan and I had to miss because we had to head south to Wellington on Sunday.
