Kangaroos and Parrots and Tasmanian Devils, oh my!

They really ARE cantankerous characters!  Tasmanian Devils are actually scavengers.  They are not predators and do not hunt.  But they are very protective of the food they do find... and generally just snarly little dudes.  We visited a preserve where the devils and other endangered, injured, and orphaned critters are kept and protected.  These 2 Tasmania Devils are buddies actually, but you wouldn't know it from the way the snarl at one another... they're a crack up!  This video was taken during feeding time when they are given carcasses to eat... they eat the fur, bones, everything!  Next to the shark, they have the strongest jaws known.
